as 1234 de la montagne went through complete renovations to open it’s doors in 2004 and become montreal’s elite nightlife experience, only one piece of the past remains…

the soul of alexander galt..

back in 1859, the prestigious venue known today as club 1234 was a home residence being occupied by the galt family. in 1900 the residency was sold to the collins clarke funeral home, and transformed into a funeral parlor. upon alexander galt’s death, it has been said that he has returned to his residency to reclaim what is his. supernatural happenings have awoken many beliefs that his soul remains within the walls of this aging building.

with or against us we do not know, but this halloween we will be calling his name and asking him to come out and reveal himself. it is time to face alexander galt. on october 31st join sides with club 1234’s green monster: “mc mario” and the soldiers who have kept this club an elite venue since 2004.

halloween 2009 at club 1234 will mark the beginning of a new milestone. complete venue transformation and the biggest prizes for best and worst costumes will be given to those who suit up with passion.
