In a world so often plagued by mediocrity it’s depressingly common to have to endure run-of-the-mill DJs. Here to save the day, DJ PUMP stands out as being unique in his delivery and exquisite talent. Pump’s abilities are only measured by a few, while his range stretches the boundaries of turntablism and what it means to be a true party DJ.

Whilst mixing, scratching, creating or blending beats from hip-hop to funk, soul, disco, rock, electro, reggae and everything fun in between genres, Pump focuses on the overall musical composition and the sound of the end result. Without a gimmick style, Pump’s skill and accuracy, alongside his distinct ear for all things funky and soulful, makes him one of the nation’s most versatile party DJ’s.

Pump’s performances have earned him the respect amongst his peers as one of Canada’s best kept secrets. He is one of the few Calgary bred DJs to receive global recognition with notable awards and accolades including both DMC & ITF Canadian DJ Champion crowns. This Calgarian is also part of Team Canada's DJ crew/management agency; The Eh! Team DJs, alongside Jr Flo (Toronto), Illo (Ottawa) and Hedspin (Vancouver).

With this powerhouse of DJs and management, The Eh! Team not only tours from coast to coast in Canada, but also cover the USA and the world. “The US has a very organized club circuit with a number of top DJ management agencies… very few Canadian DJs have had the opportunity to tour Canada, let alone be able to crack the US market. And there exists no management or booking solutions for Canadian club DJs.” Says Eh! Team DJ, Grandtheft of Team Canada “Starting the Eh! Team for us is an exciting way of starting a crew of our favorite DJs in Canada and helping to organize a structure by which these amazing DJs can tour the country consistently.”

Throughout his career Pump has headlined some of the most exciting club nights around the globe and showcased alongside a myriad of talent, including N.E.R.D, Common, The Roots, A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Afrika Bambataa, Chromeo, A-Trak, Jazzy Jeff, DJ Premier, Sharon Jones, Grand Master Flash, Questlove, Peanut Butter Wolf,Public Enemy and Snoop Dogg just to name a few.
