WE ARE ROBOTS is back with its first event of 2009, featuring some of the finest minimal-tech DJs and VJs on the Montreal Scene. Come beat the winter blues with the infectious grooves of Clifford Brown and regulars Jan Pienkowski, Minimanimal and FancyFhreek. The night will also push the visual envelope with super-wide-screen 4:1 ratio visuals (in tv terms, that would be 36:9), featuring jocool and Pink Rubber Lady.

If you like to dance; if you like innovative electronic music and visuals played by some of the hottest artists on the scene; if you liked Nuit Blanche at the SAT or at Circus, then you will really like the WE ARE ROBOTS event coming on Saturday, March 14th to the SAT!

CLIFFORD BROWN (http://MIRRORBALLS.ca)

Clifford Brown was born with a 4/4 rhythm running through his veins due to his disco loving parents. Like parents, like son – he knows how to have a good time and loves to share these good times with others. Involved, since 2006, in evenings such as the Extend, F.A.M.E., Un Zoo la Nuit and The Gold Diggers, he now runs his own monthly Motion evenings, one Saturday a month, at Salon Daomé. The Motion evenings have received visits from guests such as Efdemin, Jeff Samuel, James Teej and Tiget Stripes.

His tech-house sound, percussive and humurously soul, have been heard on the sound systems of Stereobar, Academy, Saphir, Cherry, Parking, SAT, Jupiter Room, Circus, Le Social, Sky and Pearl, among others. He has shared the decks with artists such as Justin Martin, Supermayer, Paul Kalkbrenner, Billy Dalessandro, Dan Ghenacia, Water Lilly, Snax, Plastique de Rêve, and Adultnapper.
